The Nightscout Foundation exists to encourage and support the creation of open source technology projects that enhance the lives of people with Type 1 Diabetes and those who love them. This includes fundraising, advocacy, and direct software and hardware development.

Meet Jason Calabrese, Master Programmer

Weston Nordgren June 29, 2016

If you do not know Jason, then you are missing a BIG piece of our history as a community & project. Jason is one of the few individuals that predates the inception of the Nightscout Project and as a lead Developer for Nightscout he developed the form and features that we have come accustomed to using each day in our daily struggles with T1D. Outside of Ben West, Jason has logged the most Nightscout programming time, a literal mountain of service hours on our behalf.

Jason is now doing groundbreaking work with OpenAPS for his son Andrew and always moving "one step beyond" onto the cutting edge of T1 Technology so there will be a path...a path for us, when we feel the time is right to close the loop.

(This will be a Simulcast from California & from CWD FFL in Orlando Florida.)
